Our commitment
Healthcare by the Sea wants its website to be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
We work towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the international reference published by the W3C.
Measures taken
- Accessibility panel available on every page: text size, high contrast, grayscale, link underline and highlight, readable font, spacing and reduced motion
- Semantic HTML, keyboard navigation and visible focus on interactive elements
- Color contrast reviewed against the brand palette
- Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) integrated into every site change, plus manual review
- Respect for the system “reduce motion” preference
Conformance status and known limitations
We consider the site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: most content meets level AA and we keep an ongoing evaluation to fix anything detected.
Known limitations: some third-party embedded content (maps and videos) may not offer the same level of accessibility; we provide text-based contact alternatives on the same pages.
